Octapas brunch makes you forget all about New Moon! Fun menu, good service, delicious food, and an upgrade - plenty of tables. Legislatures and leftists can all enjoy this great restaurant.

Amazing brunch and lunch menu and it feels like five star dining on a two star budget. I would highly recommend

We made reservations both times we went. I wish I would have taken a picture of the filet medallions with the special square potato dish that came with it. I felt like I was at Gordan Ramsey’s restaurant. Then we had an orange chocolate sponge cake that had the perfect amount of salt in it. Delicious sweet and salty flavor. The picture in the review is the smoked salmon Alfredo very good. But the steak meal I had the first time tops this dish I wish I took a picture. Had a great experience both times. I would say one of the finer restaurants down town. Kitchen staff looked clean.

Amazing brunch with the coolest server. Girls date so lots of chatting and the server fit right into the conversation. She was also quick with refills and making sure we had what we needed. The beignets were so light and amazing. I have the crab eggs Benedict with Brussel sprout hash...yum, just do it. It was loud, but so were we...so if you want quiet, let the waitress know.

Last night, my husband and I decided to try Octopas Cafe for the first time, and it certainly left a memorable impression. This place has a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a date night, and the attentive staff added to the experience. Our server (I regret not catching her name) was fantastic—knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to assist with our questions and menu selections. As a seafood lover, I went straight for the half-dozen oysters, which were exceptionally fresh and delicious. I also ordered the octopus, a dish that has been widely praised and didn’t disappoint. You can tell the chef puts thought and heart into every plate, as the dishes are creative and unique. However, coming from Russia, where the standard for cuisine and service is high, I do have a few notes. While the grilled octopus itself was excellent, I noticed some slightly charred spots—likely from a not-so-clean grill—which affected the otherwise perfect flavor. Similarly, the Brussels sprouts with Dijon were tasty but, by my standards, a bit overdone. My husband ordered the filet mignon, which was flawless in terms of both flavor and presentation. The accompanying side was especially impressive, with a unique twist involving grape leaves. Even the carrots, which I don’t usually enjoy, were prepared to perfection. And, as for the zucchini served with my octopus, it was a fresh, creative touch that I loved—though, in my opinion, it could have used a bit less oil. The speed of service was also notable; our dishes arrived promptly, and there was a nice variety of drinks. Being someone who exclusively drinks dry white wine, I was delighted when our server helped me choose a glass that was exactly to my taste. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and highly recommend Octopas Cafe to anyone looking for a mix of fresh, inventive cuisine, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. Just a few tweaks on the preparation side would make it even better, but we will definitely be back!

We had a great brunch today! A friend had dinner there and loved the atmosphere, so we wanted to stop by for brunch first. We loved everything from the service and food to the atmosphere. Before heading there, we tried to find out if they were kid-friendly but couldn’t find much online. I’m unsure about the dinner menu, but the brunch menu had no kids' items. The only thing that my kid agreed to try was the French toast, which was huge so be mindful of that. It would have been nice to have some mini pancakes/waffles for kids. The beignets were fluffy and so delicious! This place is great for date nights. We will definitely go back for date night dinner!

We were craving eggs Benedict. The Creole shrimp eggs Benedict was the best! The oyster fry was also excellent. Service was great. Many other enticing options on the menu. We will return!

Had a wonderful memorable dinner catching up with friends. Our server was great with the recommendations. All the food was delicious! The star of the evening was the creme brulee though. No pictures because I made the mistake of not ordering one and I had to steal a few bites. The steak was delicious and well cooked. Mahi tacos were a great start to get my appetite going. The beet salad was out of this world. The beauty of the plate matched the flavor and I was very impressed with the fresh mozzarella! We also stuck around and had a few delicious craft cocktails. The pickle plate a nice little secret addition. I'm also a really big fan of their art and logos. I was very pleased to see they had t shirts and hoodies for me to bring home.
